About The Event
Join us for non-stop worship & prayer, free meals, neighborhood outreach and nightly gatherings with guest speakers, worship & prayer ministry.
Its time for a “Re-union”a “Re-newing” of our love for Jesus and one another and to give him thanks for All He has done in the Carolinas over these last few years!…..
From Mike Thornton:
“We all have the sense by gathering under the tent in downtown Greenville, The Lord is going to give access into 7 years of culminating prayers over this city and region! I strongly sense the Lord is inviting us into a Luke 1: 13 moment where, Zechariah’s life long prayer was “heard” and answered by the Lord and a movement was birthed..(John-the Baptist)….I want to encourage you to come out and worship Jesus with us, and help us invade the streets of downtown Greenville by going door to door and releasing the power of the gospel. Our desire is to Jesus lifted up higher then He has ever been in Greenville, feed everyone that comes for free, and take Jesus door-to-door and small groups daily to the streets right next to the tent…What would happen if Jesus radically encountered ECU students during this time? Imagine the shift that could occur on that campus!”
Schedule: May 4th noon – May 7th 9pm
May 7 Finale : Student Night
May 4 Launch : National Day of Prayer
Ignite Greenville launches at noon on May 4th, the National Day of Prayer. There will be a citywide prayer gathering (hosted at the Pitt County Courthouse in previous years) from noon to 1pm with local city officials, pastors and community leaders.
