About The Event

Join us for non-stop worship & prayer, free meals, neighborhood outreach and nightly gatherings with guest speakers, worship & prayer ministry.

Its time for a “Re-union”a “Re-newing” of our love for Jesus and one another and to give him thanks for All He has done in the Carolinas over these last few years!…..

From Mike Thornton:
“We all have the sense by gathering under the tent in downtown Greenville, The Lord is going to give access into 7 years of culminating prayers over this city and region! I strongly sense the Lord is inviting us into a Luke 1: 13 moment where, Zechariah’s life long prayer was “heard” and answered by the Lord and a movement was birthed..(John-the Baptist)….I want to encourage you to come out and worship Jesus with us, and help us invade the streets of downtown Greenville by going door to door and releasing the power of the gospel. Our desire is to Jesus lifted up higher then He has ever been in Greenville, feed everyone that comes for free, and take Jesus door-to-door and small groups daily to the streets right next to the tent…What would happen if Jesus radically encountered ECU students during this time? Imagine the shift that could occur on that campus!”

Schedule: May 4th noon – May 7th 9pm

24/7 Worship – The tent will have 80 hours of non-stop worship music throughout the duration of the event.

Unplugged Nightwatch – 9pm-8am – During the nightwatch hours we will turn the sound system off and have quieter, unplugged times of worship & prayer. Many times these are some of the sweetest times in God’s presence.

Nightly Guest Speakers – 7-9pm – Each night will finale with a time of worship and an amazing guest speaker, followed by an opportunity to receive prayer and ministry.

Outreach – 3-5pm, Thursday-Saturday – Each afternoon teams will go throughout the neighborhood with care packages to meet the neighbors, offer prayer and invite people to the Jesus Tent. If you would like to participate, arrive at the tent by 2:30pm.
Lunch & Dinner – noon & 6pm – Join us at the grill outside the Jesus Tent every day for free lunch and dinner.

Sunday Morning Church – 10am-noon – If you do not have a home church, or you will be at Ignite Greenville from out of town, please join us on Sunday morning for a church service under the Jesus Tent led by Matthew Lilley & Michael Thornton.

May 7 Finale : Student Night

Join us Sunday, May 7th, the final night, for a special Student Night (all ages welcome) with special guest speaker Niko Peele and worship led by local high school and college-aged worship teams! Niko Peele is the founder and director of  Raleigh-based Ignite Movement, a collegiate prayer and evangelistic organization that help mobilize students and campus leaders to build communities of prayer and catalytic gatherings on their campus.

May 4 Launch : National Day of Prayer
